The Mandatory and Regionally Developed Procedures section includes the following information:
The following procedures are mandatory and may not be modified:
∑ Calculation of maximum number of assigned WEX/CSR hours based on CalWORKs Grant and CalFresh Allotment of the Assistance Unit†
∑ Issuance of Supportive Services
∑ Monitoring of Work Sites
∑ Reporting of Accidents
∑ Reporting Participant Employment at Work Sites
∑ Case Documentation; and
∑ Reporting of Statistical Information.
Although the following procedures are a part of WEX/CSR assignments, the method for accomplishing these steps is dependent on the regionís needs.† Regions may develop their own procedures for:
∑ Development and maintenance of Regional Cooperative Agreements with work sites
∑ Development and maintenance of Regional Job Orders (or utilize the current 22-14 HHSA)
∑ Activation and deactivation of worksites per instructions listed in CPG† 10-250.D.1 Add/Change a Provider Record in CalWIN
∑ Assigning WEX / CSR
∑ Tracking Participantsí Progress (in addition to utilizing the 27-302 HHSA WTW Work Experience/Community Service Report)
∑ Monitoring Attendance (in addition to utilizing the 27-302 HHSA); and
∑ Tracking of Statistical Information.
WEX / CSR Work Sites may be developed by:
∑ The Employment Region or
∑ The Participant
Note: The WEX/CSR Work Site must fit within the definition of WEX/CSR found in CPG 10-100.H. WEX/CSR Work Site Development.
